Do these double check discounts apply to existing clients. I have been with State Farm for many years and have never recieved a discount for safe driving or any thing else.
I got my bill today for my 2011 Home Owners Premium and noticed a increase of over $30.00. Further checking my MULTILINE discount decreased by the same amount. Sooo, I get a discount one year and the next they take it back.
I have four cars and my home with State Farm and have had them for over thirty years. I call the agent and was told that, “State Farm reduced the multi-line discount on North Carolina Homeowner policies from 7% to 2% resulting in a decrease for that discount.
This was across the board to all insureds. You still have a 2% discount”..
Well my reply was that with State Farms Commercial Blitz Double-Check sure contradicted any discount and it was just a loophole for a rate increase. The commercial says up to 22% for multiline discount. So either false advertisement or a company ripoff.
